Trilantic Europe and Alto Partners announce portfolio company merger

Talgo, a leading company in the design, manufacture and maintenance of light high-speed trains, has been awarded the XVI Internationalization Award in the category of ‘Outstanding company’ granted by the Spanish Exporters and Investors Club (Club de Exportadores e Inversores Españoles). This award recognizes the outstanding contribution to the international projection of Spanish companies. Talgo’s Chairman Carlos Palacio Oriol collected the award at the ceremony which took place today at Banco Santander’s headquarters in Madrid (Spain). 

The jury chose Talgo for being a recognized leader in the railway sector worldwide and highlighted notable projects such as the design and manufacture of high-speed trains for the Mecca-Medina project in Saudi Arabia. The high technological and innovative component incorporate in their products played an important role in the jury’s decision to grant Talgo the award.

The ceremony for the XVI Internationalization Awards was attended by María Peña, CEO of the public corporation ICEX Spain Trade and Investment, who presented the winners in each category, as well as by Ana de la Cueva, Secretary of State for Economy and Business Support, who closed the event.

A number of personalities from the Spanish State Administration and the Spanish business society also attended the ceremony to share the event with the awarded companies.

Talgo: Governor Doyle Announces Agreement with Talgo to Bring New Trains, Assembly and Maintenance Facilities to Wisconsin

Talgo, a leading company in the design, manufacture and maintenance of light high-speed trains, has been awarded the XVI Internationalization Award in the category of ‘Outstanding company’ granted by the Spanish Exporters and Investors Club (Club de Exportadores e Inversores Españoles). This award recognizes the outstanding contribution to the international projection of Spanish companies. Talgo’s Chairman Carlos Palacio Oriol collected the award at the ceremony which took place today at Banco Santander’s headquarters in Madrid (Spain). 

The jury chose Talgo for being a recognized leader in the railway sector worldwide and highlighted notable projects such as the design and manufacture of high-speed trains for the Mecca-Medina project in Saudi Arabia. The high technological and innovative component incorporate in their products played an important role in the jury’s decision to grant Talgo the award.

The ceremony for the XVI Internationalization Awards was attended by María Peña, CEO of the public corporation ICEX Spain Trade and Investment, who presented the winners in each category, as well as by Ana de la Cueva, Secretary of State for Economy and Business Support, who closed the event.

A number of personalities from the Spanish State Administration and the Spanish business society also attended the ceremony to share the event with the awarded companies.
