Vertex has successfully adapted part of its manufacturing process from producing biofuels to alcohol for sanitising purposes in the span of just two weeks.

The company has obtained authorisation from French and Spanish health authorities to distribute its disinfecting solution and expects to produce over 30 million litres over the next few months. Part of the production is being donated to local hospitals, authorities and other healthcare organisations.

Increasing quarantine bed capacity in Ibiza and producing masks

Pacha has made available all 57 of its hotel rooms at El Hotel to provide additional quarantine capacity to health authorities in Ibiza, where hospital capacity is limited, in case it is needed.

Additionally, and while permitted, Pacha Merchandise’s seamstresses have been redeployed to produce masks for local healthcare facilities and care homes.
