In addition to the investment team and finance professionals, Trilantic Europe’s network is supplemented by 12 Operating Partners and Senior Advisors as well as the Advisory Council, which has been active and chaired by Lord Baker since 2004, bringing together a group of 18 prominent Council members. Trilantic Europe draws upon their collective experience and relationships to help source investments, assist with investment evaluation and due diligence, as well as to provide post acquisition support.

Enrico Polastro

Operating Partners

Enrico Polastro, Ph.D. serves as the Vice President and Senior Industry Specialist of the European Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemicals practice at Arthur D. Little. Dr. Polastro is based in their Brussels office with focus on generic pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical fine chemicals, fields where he has worked in and has been consulting for twenty-one years. Prior to Arthur D. Little, he worked for several years for a diversified Belgian company, where he held various positions in R&D and production scaling-up both in Europe and the US. He has over twenty-four years of experience in providing management consulting to the chemical industry, focusing on strategic development and technology assessments. Previously he held roles in R&D at Monsanto and Solvay. Dr. Polastro serves as non-executive director of Dipharma Francis S.r.l., and as director at Rennovia, Inc. and BSP Pharmaceuticals S.r.l. He is also a board member of Doppel. He has authored over one hundred articles on the fine chemicals industry and has also contributed to the Ullmann Chemical Encyclopedia. Dr. Polastro has a Ph.D. in Bioorganic Chemistry from both the University of Brussels and the Philadelphia Temple University. Dr. Polastro has also an MBA from Boston University.
